How we write

Every practical fact on this site, from opening days to visa rules, is checked against an official source: the attraction's own booking site, the National Immigration Administration, 12306 for trains, Alipay and WeChat for payment. Each page shows the date it was last checked and the guides list their sources.

No one pays to be mentioned. Where we name a place, it is because it is worth your time, not because of a commission.

How trips work

When you send the Plan your trip form, a host who lives in the city you are visiting replies with a day-by-day plan and a price. You can change it as many times as you like. Bookings are made only after you accept.

Write to us

Corrections, questions and trip requests go to hello@hostedchina.com. If something on a page is out of date, tell us and we will check it again.
