When you send the Plan your trip form we receive what you type into it: your name, email address, WhatsApp number if you give one, the cities and dates you are considering, the number of travellers, your budget range, your interests and any notes. We also record the page you sent it from and the time.
We do not use advertising cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs for security.
Only to reply to your request, plan your trip and, if you book, to arrange it. To book trains, tickets and hotels in China we share the necessary details with the local guide or licensed agency arranging that part of your trip, and with the booking systems themselves.
We do not sell your details and do not send marketing emails unless you ask for them.
Requests that do not lead to a trip are deleted after 12 months. Records of trips you book are kept for as long as accounting and legal rules require.
You can ask to see the details we hold about you, to correct them or to delete them. Write to hello@hostedchina.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.
